Sudden Death.

At three o'olock this afternoou a painter named James Mflls, a jiogle man, aged 50, a resident of the Upper Hntt, while walking in tbe direction of the railway station there with a settler named Beoge, suddenly dropped down and expired in a few moments. De- ' ceased had been under treatment by Dr ' Purdy, and was on Ms way to the wel» lington hospital when death ensued. The cause is supposed to be failure of' <" tbe heart's action. I
