ACTING under instructions from the Executors, it is notified that the Retail Trade hitherto carried on at the Mill, will be absolutely discontinued, on and after January, Ist, 1896. Small Quantities of Flour, Bran, Etc., will, however, be supplied for Cash Only; and at the same corresponding Prices as that charged for by the various stores, when customers must take delivery at the Mill. Mr Cutler is the first and only bona fide maker in the Colonies ; haying made the first in Wellington in 1876 to the order of the late Thomas Mills, Esq. for which he received 95 guineas. His subsequent success was in Christchurch, where he made seventy- three instruments, and the lowest price obtained was 65gs. Since 1884 he has been in N.S.W., connected with the respected firm above alluded to. Finding the climate unsuitable to his health, he has returned and settled permanently in Wellington, Any work entrusted to him for repairs will be executed properly, with proper materials, and a fair price charged.
