The Soudan Campaign.
(Per Press Association.) London, June 15. Major-General Kitchener, Sirdar of Egyptian forces, declares that prior to the recent engagement the Dervishes had been combative, and had been informed that they would be treated* kindly, nnless they opposed the British. Cairo, June 15. General Kitchener, Sirdar of the Egyptian forces, has issued a proclamation to the effect that dervishes who have been in arms against the Egyptian authorities will be kindly treated if no further opposition is offered to the expedition.
