Sir Robert Stout at the Wellington Opera House.

(Per Press Association.) Wellington, June 12. Sir Robert Stout addressed a crowded meeting in the Opera House to-night. At the opeuing aud towards the finish there was slight interruption, but he received a patient bearing. The speech in tho main was a criticism on the Premier's speeches and an attack ou the policy of the Government. He made only brief reference to the disclosures respecting tbe Ward Farmers' Association as the case was still before tbe Courts of Justice. Replying to a question as to whether he would support the Liberal Government under Mr Seddon, or the Tories under Captain Russell, he said he would do his best to oppose the present Government and oust them irom tbe benches. He received a vote of thanks aud confidence and three cheers were accorded him.
