(Per Press Association.) London, June 11. Tbe match M.C.C. and Ground v. Australians began at Lords today. The English eleven are— W. G. Grace, Jackson, Marchant, Ploueher, Attewell, 3. Hearne, Davidson, Stoddart, Macgregor, Rangitsinghi, and Gunn. Donnan, Jones, and Johns are standing out of the Australian team. There is fine weather, but the wicket is rfttber heavy from the recent rain. The attendance of the public is very good. The Home team batted first, and the score at present stands : Grace, b Trumble, 15 ; Rangitsinghi, b Trumble, 7 ; Stoddart, stumped Kelly b Trott, 54; Jackson, not out, 37; total for 3 wicketß, 137.
