(Per Press Association.) i Wellington, Juue 11. j In the Legislative Council the Speaker took the chair at 3.30 p.m. (after delivery of tbe Governor's speech). The Hons. Arkwright, Reeves, and Jones (new Councillors) took the oath and their seats. Leave of absence for tbe session was granted to tha Hon Mr Oliver. The Council then adjourned until Tuesday next as a mark of respect to the late Sir Robert Buckley and Dr Pollen.
