Rangitikei Licensing Committee.

.» The annual meeting of the Rangitikei Licensing Committee was held at noon yesterday at Rangitikei County Council Chambers. Mr Brabant, S.M., presided. There being also present, Messrs A. Y. Mcßeth, E. H. Humphrey, R. J. Smith, E. McGregor, A. E. Remington, H. L. Sherwill, D. Coughlin, W. G. Haybittle. Sergt. Cullen was present on behalf of police. The following business was transacted : — Transfers op Licenses. From J. Barrett, Empire Hotel, Feilding, to Sydney Palmer ; Mr W. Sandilands represented the parties — Application granted. A renewal of license was also applied for by Mr Reade, and granted. New Applications for Old Houses. From A. W. Harrison, Family and Commercial Hotel, Birmingham. Mr Cohen for applicant. — Application granted. From W. T. Watts, Manchester Hotel, Feilding. Mr Reade for applicant — Application granted. Renewals. From P. Mcllroy, Pemberton Hotel, Rangiwahia. Mr Cathro for applicant. —Application granted. From Thos. Ryan, Cheltenham Hotel, Cheltenham. Mr Cathro for applicant. — Application granted. From W. Light, Denbigh Hotel, Feilding.
