jl/TURTON'S SHEEP DIP. FACTS REGARDING COMPETITION. Spit, Napier, March 20th, 1896. Manager N.Z.L, and M. Aobnct Co., Limited, Palmerston North. Dear Sir,— Referring to an advertisement headed " Sheep Dip Trials." 1. The Trial in Hawke's Bay. I was not a competitor, none of my preparations being then on the market. 2. The Canterbury Trials in 1887. My invention was placed FIRST in this competition, and a perusal of the report will convince anyone regarding its reliability, &c. The Canterbury A and P. Society, by whom this competition was conducted, will no doubt know how to deal with any aspersions on the bona fides of the said trial. 3. A very convincing proof of the value of my specific is the rapidly - increasing sales, and I have no doubt that in the course of a few years it will be used upon the bulk of the flocks in this hemisphere, and this will be the result of its merits, and not obtained by deprecatory statements and attacks upon other Sheep Dip makers. Yours truly, H. B. MURTON. A TERRIBLE COUGH. " 94 Commercial-rd., Peckhaui, July 12. " Dear Sir, — I am a poor hand at expressing my feelings, but I should like to tbank you. Your lozenges have done wonders in relieving my terrible cough. Since I had the operation of " Tracheotomy " (the same as the late Emperor of Germany, but, unlike him, tbank God, I am still aliye) performed at St. Bartholomew's Hospital, no one could possibly have had a more •violent cough ; it was so bad at times tbat it quite exhausted me. The mucous, which was yery copious and bard, has been softened, and I have been able to get rid of it without difficulty. I am, sir, your 9 truly, J. Hill." A DOCTOR'S TESTIMONY. " Routh Park, Cardiff, S.W., Sept. 28. " t-ir, — I have, indeed, great pleasure in adding my testimony to your excellent preparation of Cough .Lozenges, and I have prescribed it now for the last eight years in my hospital and private practice and found it of great benefit. I often suffer from chronic bronchitis ; your Lozenge is the only remedy which give 3 me im mediate ease. Therefore I certainly and most strongly recommend your Lozenges to the public who may suffer from Catarrh, Bronchitis, Winter Cough, or any kind of Pulmonary Irritation. Yours tiuly, A. Gabriel, M.D., L.R.C.P. and L.M., L.R.C.S. and L.M., Edinburgh."
