In the match against an English eleven at Webley Park, McKibben, Eady, and Johns stood out of the colonial team, and Whitehead and Maude replaced Mead and Hayman in the Home eleven. The Australian? batted first, but, as the wicket was playing very treacherously, made but a poor stand, and at the luncheon adjournment they had lost 8 wickets for 86 runs. Spofiforth was the chief destructive element. Later. The Australians are all out for 106.
