NOTICE is hereby given that a Poll of Burgesses of the Borough of Feilding will be taken at the Borough Council Chambers on FRIDAY, the 12th day of Juke next, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., on the proposal to light a portion of Feilding by Electrcity, and to borrow a sum of JE3OOO for such purpose, repayable in ten years, the interes whereon shall be secured by a Special Rate of 4£d in the £ on the annual rateable value of all rateable property within the Special Rating District, as defined by advertisement which appeared in the Feilding Star once a week for the four weeks ending May 16th. Only those Burgesses whose names appear on the Special Roll as owners or occupiers of property within the Special Rating District will be permitted to vote. Dated this 28th day of May, 1896.
