"Died Like a Dingo."

(Per Press Association.) Brisbane, May 19. A well known shearer named Wm. Gradour has committed suicide at liongwith strychnine. He was formerly temperate in his habits, and saved over £1,000, but lie took to drink and lost everything. Finally, after informing several persons that lie would " die like a dingo," he took a dose of poison. He was found dead in the street, and in his pocket was found a piece of paper, on which was written, "Direct home on the downward career." Two dogs were found poisoned in his tent, and it is supposed that he first experimented on them with the strychnine.
