OROUA UNION FIXTURES, 1896. The following are the fixtures for the championship contests between teams in the Oroua Union : — \ Fibst Round. May 28 — Colyton v Cheltenham, at Cheltenham ; Birmingbam v Ruabine, at Rangiwabia. May 30 Birmingham v Colyton, at Biriningbam; Cheltenham v. Apiti, at Apiti. June 6 — Colyton v Ruabine, at Bir. mingham ; Birmingham v Cheltenham, at Cheltenham. June 13— Apiti v Raabine, at Rangiwahia. Second Round. June 20 — Birmingham v Apiti, at Birniinpham ; Cheltenham v Colyton, at Cheltenham. June 27 — Birmingham v Colyton, at Colyton ; Cheltenham v Ruabine, at Birmingham. July 4— Colyton v Apiti, at Birmingham. July 11 — Birmingham v Ruabine, at Birmingham ; Cheltenham v Apiti, at Cheltenham. July 18— Cheltenham v Birmingham, at Birmingham ; Apiti v Ruahine, at Apiti. Members of the Feilding Football Club are reminded of the practice to be beld in the Volunteer Hall this evening at 7.30. The match Colyton 11. v. Unionists will be played on the Oval to-morrow afternoon. _ i No championship matches in connection with the Manawatu Union will be played next Saturday, bat the matches arranged for tbat day will be played on the followiug Saturday. On Saturday la9t the Melrose beat the Athletic by 9 to 3 and Poneke beat Petone by 10 to 3. In connection with tho Wellington Club, J. Roe (an old Feilding boy) secured the highest aggregate number of points in tbe third competition for the Levin shield.
