A senior championship match will be played at Feildiug (on the Oval) to-mor-row between the Palmerston and Feilding Clubs. Tho match will commence at 245 and members of tho Feilding team are requested to be punctual. A charge of Is will be made for admission, but members with tickets aud ladies will be admitted free. No championship matches, senior or junior, will be played on May 23 between teams in the M.R.U., and all fixtures for that date will be put on a week. This alteration in the fixtures has been made on account of the Queen's birthday. The correct dates of the fixtures will be published in the Manawatu Rugby Union's annual to be published at an early date. The protest entered by the Bed Stars against the referee's decision in the match Red Stars v. Itongotea, played on Wednesday, has been referred to the protest committee of the M.R.U. Marton defeated Obingaiti on Wednesday by a " potted " goal to nil. A match will be played at Cheltenham tomorrow between she Colytou and Apiti Clubs. The junior fixtures for to morrow are : — Kotinga v. Itongotea, at Awahuri ; Pirate II v.
