o (Per Press Association.) LoNnoN, May 10. At the sales yesterday good qualities were firm, and inferior bad, with a downward tendency. The series close on the 16th instant. Messrs Levin and Co. have received from their London agents, Messrs Dalgety and Co., the following cable : " The tone of the market is rather firmer. As at present arranged, the sales will last until May 16th." _______m______mm________.
