Speech by the Premier.
FPer Press Association. Wellington, April 80. The Premier addressed a crowded meeting at Petone to-night, the Mayor presiding. Mr Seddon spoke for three hours, defending the policy of the Government. The remarks were chiefly a repetition of those of previous speeches. At the conclusion of an enthusiastic meeting, a vote of thanks for his address, and one of confidence in the Government was carried unanimously. •
