On the charge of incendiarism be was committed for trial. The'ratcable value of city property for 1895 was £189,856. This was less, by £3000, than the amount of the previous year. Dunedin, April 28. The Bowling Association decided to point out to the Northern Association, in connection witb the proposed exhibition tournament, that the biennial tournament would take place at Christchurch in February next, and it was hoped the date of the exhibition tournament would be arranged so as not to clash.
