At the cycling carnival for Megson and Lewis' benefit, to send tbem to compete in England and America, there was a large crowd, and it is estimated that the net proceeds will amount to over £300. ResultsOpen Handicap.— McCombe, 80yds, 1 ; Handy, 35yds, 2 ; Parsons, 10yds, 8. Lewis, Megson, and Martin were among the starters. Won by a length and a quarter. Time, lmin £J|}sec. One • mile Handicap. — Megson, 1 ; Porta, 2; Payne, 3. Lewis, Martin, and Parsons were among the starters. A Splendid finish ; wqn by half a machine length.
