Welcome to the Rev. Mr Harrison.

A tea meeting was held in the local Wesleyan Church Sunday School room last evening as a welcome to the Rev Mr Harrison, who arrived in Feilding a few days ago to take charge of this portion ,of the Sandon-Feikliag Circuit. There > was a very fair attendance at the tea, the goo& things for wbicb -were provided by the ladies of the congregation. After the tea a public meeting was hold in the Church when there was a fair but re. presentative gathering. Tho Roy W. Keall presided. Addresses of welcome were given by the chairman, tho Rev J. Cocker and H. M. Murray, Messrs W, Carthew, T. Wood, A'Court, Lowe and T. Watson. Songs were given by Mrs Reader, Mrs Wood, Messrs J. S. Milson, A. Eade and J. Sanson, and Mr W. H. Judkinggave a recitation. Tho choir gave several anthems during the evening. Mr S. S. Moore played the accompaniments. At tho conclusion of tho meeting the Rev Mr Harrison returned thanks for the hearty welcome extended to him.
