The Canterbury Trials in 1887. Mj invention was placed FIRST in thia competition, and a perusal of the report will convince anyone regarding its reliability, &c. The Canterbury A and P. Society, by whom this competition was conducted, will no doubt know how to deal with any aspersions on the bona fides of the said trial. 3.
