EISE IN PRICES. (Per Press Association.) Sydney, This Day. The agents have raised tho price of butter ld per lb. Melbourne, This Day. The P. aud O. Company are making strenuous efforts to retain the export of butter trade, and have invoked the assistance of several well-known agents who have hitherto financed the. factories. As a counter move the Aberdeeu aud Lund's lines haye agreed to make the neoessary advances to producers on their shipments, thereby taking the risk of the cargoes they carry.
