Football News.
A meeting of the Pohangina Football Club, was held in the town hall on Thursday night, Mr Adsett, the President of the Club in the chair. About 20 members were present. A letter was read from the Manawutu Rugby Union asking them lit they intended joining. After a lengthy discussion it was decided not to do so. Mr Milyerton's offer of a brake for the season was accepted. Mr Arbon wrote accepting the position of Vice-President to the Club. Mr Adsett's offer of a trophy for best all round play, and Mr Greive's for the best forward play, were accepted with thanks. The Secretary was instructed to arrange a match with Ashurst for the 25th if possible. Mr Adsett presented the Club with goal posts for tho coming season.
