Hospital Board Inquiry.

(Per Press Association.! Chkistchubch, April 7. A special meeting of the Hospital Board was held to-day to consider the reports of the committee appointed to investigate the allegations brought against the house surgeon by Dr Lomax Smith. The findings of the committee were - (1). That the house surgeon had ■■■ failed to observe the byelaws ; (2)' that j he had not fulfilled his duty towards the honorary staff ; (3) that he had been guilty of neglect in the treatment of very serious and critical cases ; (4) that he had failed to show that interest and attention to patients that the Board had a right to expect.
