Rifle Club for Birmingham.

A meeting of persons interested in the formation of a Rifle Club was held in the Druids' Hall, Birmingham, on Saturday last. Mr W. Johnston, convenor, presided. On the motion of Mr Howie, seconded by Mr Banks, it was decided to form a Martini-Henry club to be called the Birmingham Rifle Club. The subscription fee was fixed at 10s per member, and, twenty having signed the membership roll, a committee of four was appointed to inspect sites suitable for a range, and report at next meeting. The Secretary, pro tern, was instructed to write for quotations for a supply of rifles. The meeting was then adjourned to Saturday, April 1 lth, at the same place, when officers will be appointed, and other matters of importance considered.
