The Fruitgrowers' Conference.
o Tiic Department of Agriculture have issued a circular notifying they will pay all frci'jlits, etc., on exhibits to the fruit tsl ovf which is to be held in connection with the Australasian Fruit Conference at Wellington in May next, and after the exhibition will dispose of the exhibits as tho owners may direct. Packages from the various distiicts are to be consigned as follows : Auckland, Mr W, J- Palmer, Government Parno!o«ist, care Inspector of Stock, Auckland (to reach Auckland by April 25Ui) ; Canterbury and Otago, Mr J. C. Blackmoio, Government JPomologist, care luspector of Stock, Christchurch (to reach Christchurch by April 28th) ; all othor parts of tho Colouy, the Secretary for AgricuU tun*, Wellington (to arrivo by April 80th).— Times
