Christchurch Froduce Market.
(Per Press Association.) Christchuech, March 25. Wheat continues to move steadily into consumption at quotations, and from several districts advices are to the effect that threshing has been completed, and grain sent forward. Certainly the quantity on offer is much less than a month ago. Oats are to-day offering sparingly, and fully maintain late rates, while for seed parcels extra is willingly paid. A large line of prime barley was reported sold at 3s 9d ; fair to prime, at 3s 4d to 3s 6d. Beans are taken for export, and buyers are prepared to continue. For oaten sheaf chaff of prime quality the demand continues fair, but buyGrs will not look at anything except first class quality, suitable for export. Barley, malting, prime, 3s 6d to 4s. Other quotations are the same as last week.
