At to-day's meeting of the Counoiljthe Engineer's report was read, dealing with the meeting of Council held at Fowlers on March 7th, which was held to open and deal with tenders for follow, ing works, when it was resolved that the following be accepted : — Pakihikura bridge, Q. F. Hunt, .£l5O, subject to plan beiug approved. Oroua Valley road A. J. Pettigrew, 2a 3d per yard. Kimbolfcon road No. 1 J. J. Sbapleski, Ss od ; Kimbolton road No. 2 J. and J. Spapleski, 2s 4d ; Kimbolton road No. 8 J. and J. Shapleski, 3s 2d ; Kinibolten road No. 4 J. and J. Shapleski, 3s 2d.
