The following is the result of the 13th competiton for Captain Kirton's rifle, aad second for Mrs Hastie's trophy :— Name 500 600 700 hep. t'J Lieut Barltrop ... 27 29 32 scr— Bß Vol Saywell ... 24 34 26 scr -84 Vol Richards ... 28 29 21 scr— 7B Vol Wilson ... 21 23 24 8—76 It vfiU be seen from the above ihafc Vol. Saywell put on 34 out of a possible 35 at 500 yards, and Lieut. Barltrop put on six bull's eyes out of seven shots at 600 yards— both very good performances. I a « m n tt:_
