Early Settlers' Association.

The secretary of the Early Settlers' Association, Mr L. G. West, asks us to state that for the purpose of drawing the attention of the early settlers to the coming celebration on the 27th he has, in addition to advertising in four newspapers, sent out 350 printed circulars to those of the early settlers whom he remembered in this and adjoining districts, and if any person has been overlooked it has been inadvertently, and he therefore hopes such persons will at once communicate with him. Applications for membership in the Association are coming in from all parts of the district and also promises of support for the gathering, which, judging from all appearances, is likely to be a grand success. — Manawatu Daily Times.
