Horowhenua Commission.
O (Per Press Association.) Wellington, March 10. Proceedings of the Horowhenua Commission opened at Levin at 10.80. There is a large attendance. Mr Fraser, whoappears on behalf of the Government,, suggested that Sir "W. Buller's remarkson the opening day re Government tramcing with fraudulent trustees was improper, and hoped he was wrongly" reported, and that the proceedings would not be marred by unpleasantness or recriminations.
