(Per Press Association.) Wellington", March 7. The Amateur Athletic Club's annual sports held to-day were favored with splendid weather and an excellent attendance. In the high jump Cole, of the Sydney Harriers, jumped sft Bin., beating the standard by one inch. The following arc the winners of the chief events : — 120 yds Handicap. — Lusk, Gyds, 1. Time, l'2secs. Long Jump. — Lash, 20ft 9ins (including a foot handicap), Pownall and Richardsou, scr., jumped 20ft 6in. The latter won in the jump oil. Half-Mile Bicycle Handicap. — Brodie, GOyds, 1. Time, liuin 12sec. Mile Walk.— Freeth, 100 yds, 1. Time, 7min 14sec. Five Mile Bicycle. -Hunt, 2:loyds, 1. Time, LSmin 3scc. 75yds Flat. — Lusk, 1. Time, 7 3-sth sees. Mile Flat,- S Eicharclson, 100 yds, 1. Time, 4min 39sec. Mile aad Half Bicycle Race— F. Castle 110 yds, 1. Time, omiu 50 .') sth sees.
