Death of Inspector Thompson.
(Per Press Association) Patea, This Day. Police-Inspector J. B. Thompson, who was attacked by apoplexy at Eakaramea on Thursday, and has been lying in the hospital ever since, suffered a relapse on Saturday evening, to which he succumbed last night. The body will be removed to New Plymouth for burial.
