The Wool Sales.

(Per Press Association.) Wellington, February 14. The third wool sale of the series took place to-day, when the catalogues were submitted by Messrs Leary and Co., Levin and Co., and the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile, representing in aggregate about 1400 bales. The attendance of English and* local buyers was good and values generally about on a par with late rates. Superior lambs £d to fd per 1b dearer, best crossbreds ranged from 8d to B id, medium to good 7d to 7^d, inferior and log-stained 3d to 6^d, choice lambs 1 wool 7£d to 3d, medium to good 6£d to 7d, log-stained and eeedy from 5 J ,d to 6d.
