Bangiwahia Notes.
(From a Correspondent). For some time past the present coacl services between Raugiwahia and Feild ing have been inconvenient for the growing population of these districts, Knowing this fact, aud feeling assured that some alteration could be made, a number of residents along the route approached Mr S. Daw, coach proprietor, on the matter and, needless to say, met with success. The old time table oi running coaches would not grant sufficient opportunity for any passengers to do their banking business in Feilding and return the following day, but the new time-table gives ample time for such work, which is being wonderfully appreciated by the settlers. Another great advantage is that this new line of coaches connects with the Waituna and Campbelltown coaches, and the Wanganui 11 a.m. train, so that anyone wishing to go to, or come from, the above mentioned places can do so in a single day. "We also bear that it is the intention of Mr Daw, on the completion of the roacJ to Ruahiue, to run bis coaches to that locality, and in the course of time (as soon as the roads will permit) he will continue the further running of bis r\ coaches to Mangaweka, to connect with the coaches for the Hot Lakes District, and the Main Trunk railway line. Altogether this line of coaches promises to be in the near future one of the many excellent tourists' routes of New Zealand. The present rapidly increasing trade, together with the wish of the inhabitants here, has induced Mr S. Daw to make these alterations. Mr Daw has also leased the Empire Hotel Stables, Feilding, where bis country and town customers will receive every attention.
