| Per Press Association.] Melbourne, February 1. At the Victorian Cycling League Meeting the weather was fine, and there was a good attendance. Following are the results : — International Scratch Mile. Porta (Italy) 1 Kirk 2 Fitzgerald ... ... ... 3 Among the starters was Parsons. Porta won by fiye yards, Time, 2min 51 2 sth sees. Five-mile Championship of Australia. Parsons (Victoria) ... 1 Porta ... 2 Kirk 3 A splendid race. Won on the post by six inches amid the greatest excitement. Time, I3min 28secs. Lewis was unable to take part in the race owing to the death of hts brother. Five heats of the League Cup were decided, and the final will be run on Saturday next. ■ !■■■— l ■!■ IIIMHIIM
