Two miles, over eight flights of hurdles 3ft 6in high. The winner of any hurdle race after the declaration of weights to carry 71bs extra. To start at 12.45 p.m. 3. First Handicap Hack Hurdles, of 40 soys ; second horse to receive 10 soys from the stakes. Nomination, 10s ; acceptance, 1 soy. One and i miles. For horses that have never won a hurdle race of over 40 soys, hack and hunter races excepted. The winner of any hack hurdle lace after the declaration of weights to carry 71bs extra. To start at 1.30 p.m. _. Manawatu Racing Club Handicap, of 200 soys ; second horse to receive 20 soys, and the third horse 10 soys from the stakes. Nomination, 1 soy ; acceptance, 3 soys. One and a half miles. Penalties the same as for the Flying Handicap. To start at 230 p.m, 5. First Hack Fiat Handicap, of 35 soys; seoond. horse to receive 5 soys from the stakes. The winner of the Fitzherbert Handicap to carry 61bs extra. To start at 2,30 p.m. 5. Second Hack Flat Handicap, of 30 soys; second horse to receive 5 soys from the stakes. Nomination, 10s; acceptance, 1 soy. One mile and a distance. Same conditions as First Hack Flat Handicap. To start at 3.15 p.m. 6. High Weight Handicap, of 50 soys ; second horse to receive 10 soys from the stakes. Nomination, lsoy ; ac-* ceptance, 1 soy. One mile one furlong. Minimum weight, Bst 71b. The winner of any flat race after declaration of weights to carry 51 bs extra. To start at 4 p.m. 7. Consolation Handicap, of 35 soys; second horse to receive 5 soys from the stakes. Nomination, 10s; acceptance, 10s. Once round. Nominations close immediately after Autumn Handicap; acceptances close 15 minutes after weights appear on the board.
