D.J.C. ECLIPSE STAKES.
(Per Press Association.) Dunedin, February 1. I After payment of the forfeit there are somo 59 left iv the Dunedin Jockey Club's first Eclipse Stakes of 500 soys. to be run at the Autumn Meeting, 1897. For the second Eclipse Stakes of 1000 soys to be run in 1898, tbe Club received on Saturday an entry of 41 foals, which with 74 two-year-olds and yearling 3 already entered make a total of 115.
