A SENSATIONAL SPEECH. (Per Press Association) Washington, January 30. In the Senate Mr Tiilinau delivered a speech in which he furiously attacked President Cleveland's currency scheme. He called the President a traitor and a charlatan, and accused him of using his office for private yaiu. The speech caused a great .sensation. The President, fearing he may receive a snub hesitates to convey a resolution upon the Armenian affairs to the Powers. A committee of the Senate resolved to ask that the Cuban insurgents be recognised as belligerents.
