Feilding Cycling Club.

A meeting of the committee of the Feilding Cycling Club was held at the Clnb Room last evening, when accounts amounting to .£63, in connection with the late race meeting, were passed for payment, and the Secretary and Treasurer authorised to pay other accounts in connection with the same (amounting to about j£l6) as they come in. The revenue from the meeting was £75 3s 6d, leaving a deficit on the meeting of £5, but this is covered by funds in the hands of the hands of the Club. A letter was received from the Secretary of the Palmerston Cycling Clnb, requesting this Club to co-operate with his Club and send representatives to Bulls on Wednesday, February 12th, for the purpose of taking the initiatory steps towards forming a Club there. It . was resolved that a Club ran be held to Bulls on the date mentioned. The question of sending a delegate from this Club to Mar ton, as requested by the Marton Club, on February Ist, to wait on the Bangitikei County Council with reference to an obnoxious bye-law, was discussed, and it was decided that this Club should be represented by Messrs S. Andrew and Barltrop. - . ■ i It was resolved, That Messrs Feck, Johnston, and Andrew, be a deputation to wait on the Athletic Club this evening, to discuss the best means of improving the racing track on the Oval. ". : . . It was resolved that a race meeting be - held at an early date, probably in March, on a Wednesday afternoon, such sports to include a ladies' race in the programme.
