The Wool Market.
(Per Press Association.) London, Jan. 20. At the wool sales the competition continues spirited with prices hardening. January 21. The wool market continues firm at full prices. At the Bradford wool sales the prices realised were the highest of the series, many lots being disposed of at a slight advance on the last top rates. CnßisTcmraoH, Jan. 22. The third wool sale of the season takes place on Friday. The number of bales to be offered is 11,471. Auckland, January 22. The second wool sale of the "season was hold to-day. The prices realised are about as follow :— Crossbreds, §Jd to B,]d ; long wool, 6jd to 8d ; lambs, 6 id to 7.{-d (one line brought 8Jd) ; pieces 4d to 6d. Next wool sales in Wellingten on 14th 1 February.
