Diabolical Murder.

0 (Per Press Association). Sydney, Jan. 15. Dr Lamb, writing from New Hebrides, describes the diabolical murder of boy belonging to the Mission Station; The method pursued is to garrot the victim and then when he is unconscious lay him on his face and twist his neck from behind sufficiently, to crush the larynx without dislocating the cervical vertibrae. The victim recovers consciousness, but is unable to speak, and dies within 24 hours from effusion of blood from the spine into the cranium and lungs, without being able to indicate the murderer.
