Produce Export Trade.

(Per Press Association.) Sydney, January 15; A Conference has been held between the dairy produce exporters and managers of the P. and O. and Orient Steam* ship Companies to discuss the terms of the new agreement for the carriage of produce to England. The old agreement expires next month. A draft agreement was adopted, nnder which butter freights are to be reduced from seven-eights of a penny to three farthings per pound, covering a period of two; years. The shipping companies promised a further reduction if the volume of trade warranted it. Ihe period: for shipping produce was extended to ihr elude February, and several other concessions were granted.
