FEILDING B.C. v. PALMERSTON B.C. Three rinks from the Feilding Club visited Palmerston yesterday and tried conclusions with the local bowlers, but were defeated by each rink. Following are the scores:— Feilding Palmerston Bray Harris Sherwill Lissaman Allen Haybittle Yates (skip) 16 Greer (skip) 26 Curtis Ryan Bailey Kibblewhite Thomson Satchell McLaren (skip) 5 Drew (skip) 33 Kirton McKellar Dixon Dixon Light Bryant Young (skip) 14 Mowlem (skip) 33 A number of club matches were also got off. Jack and Greer beat Harris and Smith by 27 to 15. Kerslake and Bennett beat Nash and Simmons by 22 to 18. In the Handicap Singles, Mowlem (scratch) beat Ryan (with 8 points handicap), the scores being 21 and 13. Hall, with 2 points, beat Smith by 21 to 19. Hodgins beat Hankins, 22, 11. Championship Singles—Hodgins beat Simmons, 22,9; Greer beat Ryan, 26,10. Standard.
