Produce Markets.
(Per Press Association.) Sydney, January 13. The tone of the import market has improved with the opening of the new year. Tbe volume of general business has I considerably increased, the demand for classes of goods relieved of duty being specially brisk. Produce lines are firm and stocks gen--1 erally are light. Breadstuffs are more 1 settled. Good business has been done in local rolled flour, which is quoted at £9 to £9 10s for new and ±10 10s for old; [ Adelaide brands £9 10s. Pollard is scarce and has advanced to 10_d ; bran, 9M. Potatoes are plentiful, local' grown selling at £4 10s to £5. Dairy : produce is in active demand at full ' rates. Adelaide, January 13. ' The breakstuffs market closed steady * and quiet. Wheat, 3s lld ; roller flour £9. A The South Australian Register says the wbeat harvest has seldom been gathered under more favourable conditions.
