Live Stock Export Trade.

[Per Press Association.] Sydney, January 10. Disappointing results of trial shipments, combined with the scarcity of good cattle, owing to the drought, had the effect of throwing the live stock export trade into the back ground, but there are now signs of revival, Mr Hughes, of Bith and Potter, London is at preseut in Sydney, his mission being to study the trade between Australia and England, especially in regard to the export of cattle. In view of previous large losses on shipments he expresses his opinion that it will be necessary to build up the trade afresh from the very foundation.
