Freeman R. Jackson and Co. 'a Wanganui stook report - At our sale at Wanganui a large number oi sheep were penned. Prices on the whole were irregular. The chief was a draft of Napier wethers. The competition for them was not brisk, but Wo sold all out at the quotation. Cattle were in small numbers. Pigs were in good supply and were better worth. Cattle- Fat cows, L 3 13s to L 3 16 ; yeariiDgs, 335, milch cows L 3 to L 3 17s 6d; heifers. L 2 12s 6d to L 2 14, Sheey— Fat wethers, 8s 7d to 7s 2d ; store wethers, 7s lOd to 8s ; small wethers. 6a 4d to 7s ; Fat ewes, 5s 7d to 6s ; Jambs, 3s 6d fo 5s 3d. Pigs -Large pork. 18s 6d to 23s ; others. 12s 6d to 15s ; email pigs, 6s to 10s.
