(Per Press Association.) Apelaide, January 8. Last year the Produce Department shipped to London 432 tons butter as compared with 478 tons the previous year, while 86,000 gallons of wine were shipped as compared with 15,000 the previous year. Sydney, Jan. 8. Sailed— Anglian, for Auckland, with Mr Hood, the chief officer, in command, vice Mr Le Levu. Arrived— Tarawera, from Wellington. On the passage one of crew, named MeKichen, died through the bursting of a blood vessel, and was buried at sea on the 4th. The importation of 'Frisco flour is having a depressing effect on the market today. Two thousand tons of South Australian roller made flour were placed at .£9 10s per ton landed in Sydney. Hoeart, Jan. 8. Mr Kiugston has advised Sir E. C. N. Braddou that the intercolonial conference on the proposed treaty with Japan will sit at Sydney on the 14th instant.
