Bush Fires in Australia.

(Per Press Association.) Sydney, Jan. 7. Yesterday's beat at Ungerie registered 125 and at Cobar 120 in the shade. Heavy thunder showers fell to-day in the city and country districts. Bush fires are raging in all directions, The Blue Mountains are ablaze in many j parts, and a grand spectacle ia presented* At Termeil three bouses were destroyed. The town of Botnbala was completely surrounded by flames, but was saved after several hours fierce fighting. The residents turned out in a body to fight the flames. Besides tha great destruction of crops by fires, tbe orchards have been ruined by the intence heat.
