More Drowning Fatalities.

rPer Press Association] Auckland, Januarys. A boy named Sheehan, aged eight, wai drowned in the city salt water baths to* night. He was suddennly missed, and Mr Glover, the cnstodian, at once jumped in and got him. The boy showed signs of life, but afterwards died While bathing in a creek at Papuaranga, David Bell, aged 8, got out of his depth. A young man named McAlister went to his assistance, but could not swim. Both grasped each other and sank, and would have been drowned but for the timely arrival of Mr Bell. Wellington, This Day. A girl named Goldfinch, aged about 17, was drowned when bathing at Island Bay this morning. Her companion had a narrow escape. The body was recovered by a boy, but life was extinct.
