o (Per Press Association.] Wanganui, Dec. 30. The fifth round of the chess tourney was commenced today. Barnes beat Hathcrly, Mouatt defeated Anderson, the game between Cocks and Sexton was drawn, Mackey beat Remingcon, Lelievre beat Hoohhain, Meldrmn beat Edwards, and Pearse and Pleasants drew. The following is a summary of the scores up to the present : —
