THE TONE HOPEFUL. | Per Press Association] London, December 30. The American crisis has not affected the Bradford wool market. At Saturday's sales the tone was hopeful, and enquiry good.
London, Dec. 29. The Bank of England returns published to-day show the total reserve to be A' 34,158,000, the proportion of reserve to liabilities being 58*82 per cent. New Zealand long-berried wheat is quoted at a nominal figure. The New Zealand hemp market is unchanged. Frozen mutton —The market is unchanged ; Limb Id.
